Davines introduces Fitness and Food initiative

Sustainable haircare brand, Davines, has launched its Fitness and Food initiative with an aim to help its affiliated hairdressers look after their wellbeing.

Designed to promote a happy, healthy work environment, the new initiative is the latest step for the brand that has become known for going the extra mile in supporting its hairdressers.

Fitness and Food combines two initiatives, including Fitness for Hairdressers: Feel Better Behind the Chair, which offers exercises designed to help fight fatigue, prevent muscle injury and relieve stress during long salon days. The second, Food for Hairdressers: Feel Better Behind the Chair, aims to assist hairdressers in their diet choices and improve work performance.

Monica Poli, Davines’ international education manager, commented: “As professionals that concentrate on the care and beauty of people, we understand that feeling well means working well, which is why we have devised the Davines Fitness and Food initiative. We hope our hairdressers will practice the healthy working regime and pass on this approach to their clients.”
