The deadline is approaching for the annual Jane Iredale National Student Make-up Competition, with the opportunity for entrants to demonstrate their talents and win a career-enhancing prize.
The competition is hosted by Jane Iredale distributor iiaa, whose College Programme supports and educates students, encouraging them to strive for the high standards that will help them to succeed in future roles in the industry.
This year’s theme is ‘Rainforest Runway’ and the judges will be looking for vibrant, editorial-style make-up, inspired by the tropical colours of the rainforest.
Six shortlisted students will be given an all-expenses paid two-day trip to London from 8-9th June, where they’ll take part in advanced training and workshops. This will be followed by a live final at The Savoy Hotel, London on the 15th June, judged by a panel of beauty experts including renowned make-up artists Karla Powell and Sarah Jagger.
The winning student will receive a fantastic prize package to kick-start their career including a Jane Iredale make-up kit worth £1,000, four days of intensive training and a day’s work experience. The student’s college will also receive £1,000 of mineral cosmetics to use as a training tool.
The deadline for student entries is 3rd April.
