Goldwell announces Mark Leeson as first global creative ambassador

Multi-award winning hairdresser, Mark Leeson, has been named the first global creative ambassador for Goldwell.

Leeson, who has been an ambassador for Goldwell for almost six years, will now work with the hair brand on the development of new products, service concepts and imagery.

With two successful salons in the north east of England, Leeson is famed for his inventive high-end color work, and has won multiple awards for his couture-inspired hair collections over a 30 year career. He has also nurtured a team of superstars who regularly pick up esteemed awards including Artistic Team of the Year twice at the British Hairdressing Awards.

“This is a role I am extremely proud of and excited about. Goldwell has an incredible portfolio of products and its colour is exceptionally superior,” commented Leeson. “I will work closely with the brand’s global teams to ensure it stays at the cutting edge of hairdressing and remains a market leader in the professional sector.”

A passion for world-class training makes Leeson a key spokesperson for education. As part of his new role, he will be working with Goldwell’s education team to develop new creative techniques and dynamic programs to inspire stylists around the world and bring the brand’s “We Think Stylist” message to life.
