Small business funder, Liberis, has been announced as a finalist for the Alternative Lender of the Year – Commercial Award at this year’s Credit Today Awards.
One of five companies to be shortlisted in the category, Liberis secured its spot by impressing a panel 18 judges from across the industry in areas including innovation, customer satisfaction, contribution to the sector, good management and processes.
Liberis CEO, Paul Mildenstein, commented: “We’re extremely pleased to be in the finals. We’ve seen a 100 per cent increase in demand for business funding over the last year and 70 per cent of our customers return for more. We think this says a lot about Liberis and our product and is testimony to its need amongst small businesses.”
Credit Today’s managing editor, Fred Crawley, added: “This year’s crop of nominations proved to be a real challenge when it came to narrowing down a shortlist. I wish all our nominees the best of luck.”
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 14th May.
