Mova salon founder Giuseppe Vaccaro and creative director, stylist & colourist Ellie Carter ran the race alongside local running enthusiasts. They donated £500 to local charities including White Lodge Centre charity for disabled and mentally ill children and adults.
The Staines 10K was originally created to not only have a fast, flat competitive course but also to provide much needed cash to local deserving causes.
Given out to thousands of runners, this year’s Staines 10K medal sported the Mova logo on the ribbon.
Vaccaro commented, “We’re so proud to sponsor the Staines 10K each year, and this time was Ellie’s first run – she did really well!”
