Over 3,800 hairdressers from 70 countries gathered on 20 April at the Fiera di Roma for the Revlon Professional Style Masters Show, one of the world’s biggest hair events that celebrates the industry’s creativity and avant-garde inspirations.
Presented by Miguel Garcia, global creative director of Revlon Professional, the glamorous gala revealed the 2015 winners of The Style Master International Contest, the Revlon Professional competition that gives stylists the opportunity to gain global visibility.
This year’s competition broke all records with 1000 collections presented from 33 countries. The judging panel was composed of members from the Style Masters team – Robert Masciave and X-Presion; and Emilie Onfray, international brand manager for Style Masters; photographer Jonathan Miller; Raquel Gatell, founder of Traffic Models; Roberto Pissimiglia, president of Estetica international magazine; and Angelita Lizbeth Carrion, Style Masters Global Winner 2014.
Natalia Zheglova of Russia was crowned Global Winner, The Style Master 2015, while the award for Best Creativity went to Fabio Massimo Ziccardi of Italy, Nandor Tamas Varga of Hungary won the Best Technique Award and the Young Talent Award was presented to Hwei Yee Chin of Malaysia.
The Style Masters Show 2015 also served as the setting for the unveiling of the new Revlon Professional 360 Education Program, and the latest hair trends: inspired by the 70’s Bellissima for spring/summer and the presentation of the new Eastern inspired launch from Orofluido. In addition, a premiere of Revlon Professional upcoming collection, Fall In Love, for autumn/winter inspired by English heritage.
