Scissors hosts annual in-house awards

Business - Salon of the Year - Scissors Ringwood_500
Bournemouth based hairdressing group, Scissors, recently held their annual in-house awards celebrating a successful year at the beautiful art deco inspired Cumberland Hotel in the coastal town.

Managing director of Scissors, Yogi Parmar, welcomed the team to the awards along with guests from Wella Professional. To mark the occasion, Parmar invited the Scissors team and VIP guests to the stage to take a group selfie and to encourage everyone to share their images via Scissors social media channels using the #ScissorsWinners #TimetoShine.

Several members of the Scissors family were recognised for their longstanding service with the company, with Johan De Hollander from the Ringwood salon celebrating an amazing 37 years with the group.

Following dinner, the crowd was entertained by top UK mind reader, Alex Crow, before Mia Dellicompagni, director of hairdressing at the group’s sister company, Francesco Group, joined Parmer on stage to present the photographic awards to the stylists who excel in their creative work. Sian Draper from Scissors Bournemouth salon was presented with the award for Apprentice Image of the Year whilst Eloise Dudley from the Westbourne salon picked up the award for Hair Trend Image of the Year.

Toasting a great business year, awards were then presented for Apprentice of the Year, Reception Team of the Year, and Stylist of the Year, which was presented to Erica Hill from the Ringwood salon for the second year running. The much sought after Salon Team of the Year was awarded to the Ringwood salon.
