This weekend, the Trevor Sorbie Brighton team were an official partner for Brighton Pride 2014, taking part in the annual parade and setting up a pop up salon as part of the festivities.
As firm supporters of the event’s celebration of diversity, the LGBT community, and of the Freedom to Live campaign to promote equality, fourteen team members plus models marched within the Pride Community Parade, which proceeds through the city to the Festival event at Preston Park. Here, a pop up salon was on hand within the VIP area and staff flyered and handed out branded helium balloons.
“We are incredibly exciting to be an official partner for Brighton Pride 2014,” said salon manager, Alison Stevens. “Pride is such an important event in the city that we felt we had to come on board to show our support for the great work the organisation does in raising awareness and funds for the LGBT community.”
Trevor Sorbie added, “I think it’s a really positive thing that people can be outrageous, because whatever their gender or sex they are totally accepted, it’s wonderful. We’ve been in Brighton for ten years and we always want to show support for the city.”
