Wahanda launches training academy for salons and spas

Hair and beauty booking platform, Wahanda, is to launch The Wahanda Academy, giving salons and spas expert training on sales and marketing as well as key operational areas.

Free seminars will be twice-weekly in key cities throughout the UK covering brand building, social media and guidance on CRM systems, as well as training on how to get the most out of Wahanda and its salon software, Connect.

The Wahanda Academy will run twice-weekly free seminars in cities across the UK and will also make the training available online in the form of video tutorials and webinars, allowing salons and spas to train at their own convenience.

Valerie Delforge, who has joined as head of academy, has 25 years of experience in the beauty industry with roles at Clarins, Urban Retreat in Harrods, L’Occitane and Steiner. She has also had her own business so is well placed to understand the various challenges owners and managers are facing.
