BBA’s Mike Taylor hosts barbering master class in Hong Kong
Mike Taylor, director and southern based trainer of the British Barber’s Association, recently visited Hong Kong to host a barbering master class at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Following the success of last year’s event, Taylor and trainer Sheriff Mehmet returned to the five-star hotel and showcased cutting-edge barbering techniques using Structure styling products.
The four-day event saw the duo demonstrate cuts, shaves and expert advice to support and develop the standard of barbering at the hotel, while Taylor was also asked to present a Master Barber award to the hotel’s team member, Larry Mui.
The BBA trainers will return next year, of which Taylor commented: “It’s a real honour to be asked to go back again, I am very passionate about education in this industry and it’s an amazing opportunity to train barbers in a top class, worldwide hotel.”
