Beer, Braids and Dads Combines Skills, Social and Charity in Chichester
Braiding a youngster’s hair can be a challenge for many dads, but Q Hair and Beauty has come up with a novel way of solving the problem. They have introduced ‘Beer, Braids and Dads’ and the very first event proved such a roaring, sell-out success that it will now take place at the award-winning Chichester salon on future Friday evenings.
For just a £10 donation, for the launch event, the dads received a complimentary beer on arrival, followed by a relaxed, fun session learning simple braiding skills. The salon is fully-licensed so further drinks were available.
“We’ve been blown away by the response and bookings are already flowing in for future sessions,” said Kain Lawrence, Q Hair and Beauty’s managing director. “All the money raised at the launch was donated to Tommy’s, a charity which exists to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and to make pregnancy and birth safer. It’s dedicated to finding causes and treatments as well as providing trusted pregnancy and baby loss information and support, such a brilliant cause we’re delighted to support.”
