Blue Tit donates profits to homeless charity

Sustainable salon group Blue Tit has continued its mission to support as many local charities as possible by donating revenue to the homeless. The team at its Dalston salon teamed up with other local businesses to help the Hackney Winter Night Shelter, donating 10 per cent of its takings from a busy Saturday. The cash went towards providing hot meals and warm beds for homeless people during one of the coldest months of the year. Director Perry Patraszewski comments: “The team at Blue Tit believe charity and giving back should be a year-round effort. The Hackney Winter Night Shelter is a great initiative and we hope to continue our work with them in the future.”
