Launceston award-winning hairdresser Craig Chapman is set to head to India in February 2016 to impart his wisdom at the Creatively Conscious Walk your Talk Retreat in Kerala.

Chapman, owner of Craig Chapman Hair Design, has twice attended the beach-side retreat but this visit will see him now on the programme itinerary as part of the Gateway to the Sacred Workshop between from 13 to 20 February next year. The Kerala retreat is designed to help people access their authentic creative potential and was co-founded by healer and spiritual author Vanessa J Tucker and Chi Gong practitioner Mano Guillemot, who both share their time between the UK and India helping people to harness the power of their imagination.

For his part, Chapman will guiding participants of the programme in creating their own mask and headpiece, an exercise designed to encourage inner creativity and turn it into something tangible.

“Craig adores the Walk your Talk Retreats, so when I was writing Creatively Conscious his name instantly popped into my head,” explained Kerala retreat co-founder, Tucker. “With my background in hair styling, theatre and therapy, I have experienced first-hand their transformational properties and this workshop seemed the perfect opportunity to combine the powerful elements of all three.”

Of his upcoming involvement at the retreat, Chapman said: “It’s amazing that I am already so familiar with the retreat and now I will be returning as part of the programme! I am honoured as I think the work they do is incredible and so uplifting. I love that my career has led me here!”
