Crystal Clear Skincare founder wins Innovator of the Year at Women in Business Awards

Sharon HilditchLiverpool business woman, Sharon Hilditch, MBE, founder of leading anti-ageing skincare brand Crystal Clear, has scooped the award for Innovator of the Year 2016 at the Women in Business Awards.

The beauty entrepreneur received the award at the fourth Women in Business Awards 2016, which celebrates female entrepreneurs and business owners from across Merseyside. The gala lunch was hosted on Friday 4 March 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool by Downtown Liverpool in Business in association with Merseyside based The Women’s Organisation.

Hilditch founded Crystal Clear in 1995 when she spotted the potential for a non-surgical skin resurfacing treatment that would bridge the gap between salon facials and medical procedures, thus creating a new market in the beauty sector. Today, her treatment Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion is the industry’s most popular salon treatment machine and has earned its cult status among beauty therapists and clients worldwide.

Hilditch has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Natwest Everywoman UK Female Entrepreneur of the Year and the Prince Philip Medal in 2008, and was also honoured with an MBE in recognition of her outstanding contribution to British business.
