Ego Professional seeks to #BringBackTheBlowDry to Britain’s women in aid of Macmillan
National Blow Dry Day is back and it is bigger and bouncier than ever, as Ego Professional launch their Bring Back the Blow Dry campaign to teach women across the country how to create extraordinary hair, every day.
With the average woman visiting the salon three times a year, hairdressing electrical master, Ego, is on a mission to help them learn how to recreate salon-worthy hair at home when they don’t have a professional on hand to do it for them.
Created to raise support and awareness to women all over the country who are in need of self-styling education, the Bring Back the Blow Dry campaign will bridge the gap between the high street and home with 200 stylists providing all the hints, tips, and style advice to help women achieve great hair at home.
Ego co-founder and director, Kala Kilshaw Laing, explains, “We’ve teamed up with high street giants Boots, where our team of Egotisists will bring professional skills to everyday women throughout the country in a bid to make the women of Britain understand their hair more.”
On 28th July, the official National Blow Dry Day, Ego will be holding a landmark event at Neville Hair & Beauty in Knightsbridge that will be all about the blow dry. Members of the public, press, and celebrities are all invited to join the fun, with proceeds donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Women across the UK, and further afield, are being asked to get involved by sharing their #bedhair on Facebook and help raise funds for Macmillan.
