Elemis has presented Wellbeing of Women with a donation of £15,000 as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations to help fund a project pioneering radiotherapy treatment for gynaecological cancers.

The donation, which was raised from sales of Elemis’ limited edition Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules, will be allocated by the women’s health charity to groundbreaking research being undertaken by Dr. Alexandra Taylor and Dr. Neel Bhuva at London’s Royal Marsden Hospital.

In the UK over 50 women every day are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer, with 7,700 women losing their lives to it every year. The life-saving research funded by Wellbeing of Women will help deliver new treatments that make use of recent technological advances in radiotherapy.

Oriele Frank, director of marketing at Elemis, commented, “We are delighted to celebrate Wellbeing’s 50th anniversary and help raise funds for a really imperative project helping improve outcomes for gynaecological cancers.
