Essie tours UK with L’Oreal Colour Trophy

Essie’s educators and nail technicians have had a busy few weeks as they have toured the UK with the L’Oreal Colour Trophy.

The Essie team set up a roaming nail bar manned by the brand’s nail technicians and educators for teams and guests to get a quick touch up on the go.

Meanwhile backstage, Essie’s education executive, Emma Singh, worked together with Laura Gray from Loughton’s Mode Beauty Therapy and Candace-Sophia Cruickshank from Leticia Haute Coiffure in London to design and execute a bespoke nail design for each evening’s show. With a white blanc base, models were given a triangular detail in either black Licorice or red Lacquered-up to reflect the different styling looks.

“We wanted a slightly futuristic look that could be easily achieved on a range of lengths and shapes of nail that would reflect the clothes and make-up, whilst still being achievable on 20 models within the time allowed!” says Singh.

The tour will culminate with the team returning to London for the final of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy on Monday 23rd June 2014.
