Fellowship for British Hairdressing announce Hellen Ward as new chairman

The hairdressing industry’s business guru, Hellen Ward, has been sworn in as the chairman for the Fellowship of the British Hairdressing industry body.

Run by members and representing the top 10 per cent of the hairdressing industry, the Fellowship and its members uphold the highest professional standards and champion life-long training and education.

Revered in the industry for her business acumen and her vision for brand development, Ward’s new role will see her oversee the every day running of The Fellowship. She will ensure that the Presidents and Council’s wishes are implemented, whilst providing a continuity of the services that is offered to members.

Ward will take up the new role alongside her main position as managing director of Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa, as well chairing the government’s Trailblazer committee for the hairdressing sector.

On her new position, Ward commented: “I am delighted to become chairman of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing. I’ve been in the hairdressing industry for 30 years, having worked my way up from apprentice to salon owner, so it is an honour and a privilege to represent the Fellowship and its members who are undoubtedly the crème de la crème of our profession.”
