Fellowship promotes new hairdressing talent with Future Fantastic masterclass event

The skills of some of the industry’s most promising young hairdressers were showcased to a packed audience in London recently at The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Future Fantastic masterclass.

Now in its thirty-forth year of offering top master classes, The Fellowship provided a platform for 12 up-and-coming stylists to exhibit their workmanship to industry professionals while sharing their stories of the support and help that the organisation has provided.

Hairdressers showcasing their work included Leah Walton from The Colour Room, Alex Pineda from Sassoon, Zullo and Holland’s Angelo Vallilo and Hob Salon’s Jake Ungar.

Errol Douglas MBE, president of The Fellowship, also interviewed celebrity hairdresser Jamie Stevens live on stage. The Fellowship’s Media Personality 2013 is a graduate of the scheme’s F.A.M.E. Team and spoke of his career highlights, before the evening culminated in a catwalk show of the finished model looks.
