Free Your Creative Mind: Project X spend the day with Jordanna Cobella

Project X immersed themselves in a day of discovering trends with colour expert, Jordanna Cobella. To fully clear their minds and recharge their spirits with a euphoric sound bath organised by Jordanna, to remind the team to rebalance themselves mentally before diving into a day of creativity. Jordanna enlightened the team with her approach to navigating trends, focusing on how to excel the team creatively and supporting them in their salon business. The team also explored where trends can be discovered and how to plan and style content surrounding the latest trends and technqieus. The second half of the day was reserved for creating versions fo the trends discussed in a look and learn collaboration.

What an incredibly informative day for Project X!

“I enjoyed hearing how Jordanna simplifies researching, and tips to figure what trends are coming for the year. Then followed up with our independent research based on the trends forecasted for the year. And to see how she simplified the execution of these looks whilst still delivering an amazing shot at the end. Thank you Jordanna!” – Jonny Sheppard from Headmasters, Bromley Square.

Strip back the Colour: Project Sassoon learn from Sasson Colour Instructor Amber Senn

Project Sassoon spent their day with Amber Senn, Sassoon Colour Instructor and their project leader and Sassoon’s Creative Director, Zslot Nagy. It was a jam-packed day of education where the team stripped their colour knowledge back to the basics to refresh their understanding on the fundamentals and structure of hair colouring. The afternoon was reserved for the team to experiement and design a unique colour that they could apply in everyday salon life or use for a colour photoshoot.

What an incredibly creative day for Project Sassoon!

“We started off the day with Amber showing us tints and pieces, following with a toner and explaining why with colour choices. Amber’s colour knowledge is brilliance itself, alongside her discussion about face shapes and how they impact colour choice and techniques. Working on our block heads from our previous cutting day, our creativity was let loose! Zsolt and Amber made us feel so comfortable, it’s the best learning atmosphere !” – Jacquie Hirst from Jax

Project Men and Media

Project Men and Media travelled to Ramsgate to spend their day at WAHL HQ focusing on all things barbering with Michael Damiano. To begin, Micheal took the time to analyse exactly what each person wanted to gain out of the day, kicking off with an energetic presentation on his journey. He performed a tutorial on 2 different cuts along side some great tips & tricks for us to take back to the salon to use on their clients.

“It was a great day. I learnt new techniques and gained further information about the clippers available at Wahl. Mic Damiano was really engaging and i gained knowledge in how he presents and educates. The academy is an amazing space.” –
