ghd recently took over the Style Suite in IMG House to tend to the hair of the world’s tennis stars attending the pre-Wimbledon party.
Party-ready waves were the order of the day, with the UK’s Heather Watson and Laura Robson, Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic, Spain’s Garbine Muguruza, Russia’s Nastia Pavluychenkova and Canada’s Genie Bouchard all sporting variations from glamorous and side-swept to more modern textured and undone styles.
Acing the sleek-sporty trend, the USA’s Madison Keys opted for a high-fashion couture ponytail, while Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic was given a strong and sleek look with a defined centre parting. Representing the men, fellow Aussie Nick Kyrgiou simply opted for a trim ahead of his turn on the courts of the world-famous event.
