Introducing hairdressing’s latest innovation: the ghd curve

Heralded by Adam Reed as the curling tools he’s been searching for, ghd’s brand new curve range promises to offer stylists “a world of new styling possibilities.”

The new product quartet, which comprises two wands and two tongs, was created following new research into what professional stylists need from curling tools. With this in mind, each tool tackles the issue of curl-drop with the brand’s patented tri-zone technology. Meanwhile three quick-thinking sensors in the barrel heat the tools to 185°C and maintain this temperature constantly and evenly delivering long-lasting, healthier-looking curls that last.

The tools make styling faster too: with rapid heat-up, quickset and the ability to load more hair onto the barrel, hairdressers can create an array of looks in minimal time.

“The curve range gives lasting movement, exceptional shine and waves that hold for 24 hours, so hair still looks beautiful and bouncy throughout the next day,” says session stylist Zoe Irwin. “ghd curve has totally changed my work.”

Reed adds: The tri-zone technology means that I can achieve a totally controllable texture, wave or curl.  In addition the styling results have exceptional staying power. Already a staple in my kitbag, replacing an array of curling tools, the four curve tools offer endless styling possibilities  – I have been so excited about exploring them with my team and clients.”
