Top male grooming and hairdressing trainer, Joseph Lanzante, is offering the next generation of hairdressers and barbers top of the range training to help apprentices reach their dreams and aspirations.

The entrepreneur is hosting an open day for 16 to 24-year-olds in employment who have just come out of school or college, on 10  June from 10am to 3pm at his own training academy in Accrington.

The internationally established stylist, who owns The Men’s Room in Clitheroe and the Joseph Lanzante Training Academy in Clayton-Le-Moors, aims to inspire budding new barbers and hairdressers who are interested in doing a level two and three hairdressing and barbering course.

Covered by a Government initiative, the training scheme on offer is part of the Adult Apprenticeship programme and includes practical and theory based teaching methods with a focus on perfecting the basics, while the advanced apprentices can develop their skills around new technical areas.

Lanzante comments: “I am so excited by the prospect of teaching new students. Hairdressing and barbering are huge passions of mine; it is a highly respected skill and profession. The open day is a fantastic way for me to meet potential new students who are interested in finding out more about our apprenticeship scheme. I look forward to meeting the future hairdressers and barbers who I can inspire and help on their way to a successful career.”

The open day is a free event and people can turn up on the day, or if they prefer may pre book a slot. Salon owners are encouraged to come to the open day with their apprentices to meet with Lanzante and hear about the training he has to offer.
