Karen Betts to offer help to people with facial disfigurements through The Katie Piper Foundation
Permanent cosmetics therapist Karen Betts has been named an exclusive consultant for The Katie Piper Foundation. Having worked with former model Piper as she recovered from her acid attack in 2008, Betts recreated her lips, brows and eye definition over a 12-month period.
The experience led her to offer her services to help improve the lives of other people with facial disfigurements and she will now take on an integral role for Piper’s charity.
The Katie Piper Foundation aims to make life easier for people living with burns and scars and is aiming to provide sufferers with access to the best treatments available; Betts is the first in this growing network of therapists. She says: “It’s a fantastic charity and I’m delighted that we can help; I hope this collaboration will be a success and that we can help as many people as possible.”
