Ken Picton salon celebrates 25 year anniversary

Multi award-winner Ken Picton celebrated 25 years of his Cardiff salon by throwing a champagne reception and awards event for his team along with family, friends and VIP guests from the likes of L’Oreal Professionnel, ghd and Kerastase.

Held at the five star St David’s Hotel & Spa in Mermaid Quay, Picton kicked off proceedings with a retrospective of his career journey from his first salon The Zoo in Cardiff city centre to his current 6,500 ft eponymous luxury salon, with 27 major British industry awards in between. He also paid tribute to his team for their help and support in making the business Wales’ leading destination salon.

The awards ceremony saw accolades got to Natalie Hinton, who took home the Special Achievement Award as well as being jointly awarded with Sally Edwards for over 20 years of service. Employee of the Year went to resident make-up artists Lara Champion while Chloe Maddox scooped Assistant of the Year and the Customer Care Award went to Rachel Gronow.
