Kérastase x Orley, NWFW AW15

Kérastase recently went backstage at NWFW for Orley’s AW15 collection with Raphelle Saint-Marchelle and Harry Goodfellow leading session teams for womenswear and menswear respectively.

Men got a boyish and lived-in look, as if a groomed style had been a little disheveled under a hat, much like the vintage garments that had been recreated in a subverted way for the show.

Goodfellow and the team began with applying Kérastase Bouffant Mousse through damp hair before finger drying towards the face using Hot Tools Ionic Salon Dryer. A small amount of Kérastase Mania Wax worked into the head with finger tips created a flat, greasy texture.

Over in womenswear, Saint-Marshall went for a similarly effortless look, with hair tucked behind ears for an elfish feel with a few wispy flyaways framing the face.

Kérastase Bouffant Mousse was applied to the roots and mid-lengths before hair was blow dried smooth and given a neat centre parting. Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil was run through ends for shine and definition, while Kérastase Spray A Porter helped build texture into the style.
