Leeds’ Westrow Academy hosts Fellowship for British Hairdressing Clubstar evening
Northern England’s award-winning hairdressing group, Westrow, recently hosted the Fellowship for British Hairdressing Clubstar evening with an aim to support the industry’s rising stars and help young creatives develop their hairdressing skills.
Held at the group’s Leeds-based state-of-the-art educational academy, Westrow House, this was the first northern function for the Fellowship and it attracted interest from more than 45 budding hair professionals from salons across the North of England.
The educational evening included a presentation from the Westrow artistic team, with educational director, Leanne Brown, joined by technical director, Jenny Pelter, as well as junior artistic team members to showcase six trend-led looks using products courtesy of event sponsors, Sexy Hair.
Guests were then invited up close to study the looks and given a generous goody bag to take away to help them implement what they’d learned back on the salon floor.
Steve Rowbottom, director of Westrow, said: “It was fantastic to host a Fellowship for British Hairdressing Clubstar event for the northern hairdressing community, where the Westrow Artistic team worked tirelessly to create fashion-forward looks on the night. The event was the perfect platform for guests to find out more about the organisation and we look forward to hosting another event for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing shortly.”
