Neville Hair & Beauty x Palmer//Harding, LFW AW15

Neville Hair & Beauty’s backstage team, headed by Stephen Low and Elena Lavagni, were once again enlisted to create the hair concept for the Palmer//Harding AW15 presentation at London Fashion Week.

Marking the fifth collaboration between Neville’s salon team and the brand, this season saw a braided design with a twist inspired by a lightly sinister Amish look. Innocent looking knots were placed around the head to suggest a crown of thorns for a romantic yet strong look.

Head stylist and creative director at Neville, Stephen Low, said of his concept: “We created an organic sort of look. We wanted to go with something very natural. As braids have been done so much in the past few fashion seasons we wanted to do something a little bit different and give it a raw feel as opposed to tightly placed around the head. You could actually see a few hairs flying around the head, which gave a lived-in feeling to it with one continuous circle of knots around the head.”

In order to achieve the look, the team used L’Oreal Beach Wave spray to add a rougher texture whilst still maintaining a slightly dewy, natural look.
