Rae Palmer partners with Revlon Professional
Award-winning hairdresser Rae Palmer has partnered with Revlon Professional as part of a move that sees her rebrand her eponymous business as WeLove Salons.
Palmer, who is currently shortlisted for Southern Hairdresser of the Year, will be an ambassador for Revlon and will be focusing on the role of the commercial hairdresser in the industry today. Her aim is to empower the high street hairdresser and she will be teaching her business concepts around the UK as well as appearing on stage creatively for Revlon Professional.
“After owning my salon for 15 years and building the Rae Palmer brand name very successfully, I decided it was time to look at the future of my business,” said Palmer. “ I wanted my small empire to last not only through a turbulent recession but to grow and prosper for the next generation and beyond. For the high street salon to survive, as an industry we have to look at the experience we offer our guests more than ever.”
The rebrand sees Palmer’s flagship Southsea business become a ‘beauty hair salon’ – a total care concept including an experiential retail area – which she plans to franchise. Together with Revlon, she will be unveiling the first stage of the new salon concept towards the end of 2015 with further developments completed in 2016.
