Stirling-based tanning salon chain Indigo Sun has announced plans to open a further five new state-of-the-art salons across the UK.

Taking its successful model of great locations with the latest UV technology and equipment to the length of the country, Indigo Sun will open two new premises close to London with a further three in Milton Keynes, Liverpool and Glasgow. The award-winning business currently has 58 tanning salons throughout the UK and has plans to open a further 12 over the coming year.

Managing director Frank Taylor says: “We have been expanding out of our Stirling base for some years now in response to the changing demands of our market. Expanding out of Scotland seems like a natural step for us as the industry here is particularly competitive at present, while we were able to find some exciting opportunities elsewhere in the UK.”
