THE FELLOWSHIP FOR BRITISH HAIRDRESSING ANNOUNCE THE 2027 F.A.M.E. TEAM FINALISTS
The Fellowship for British Hairdressing is delighted to announce the 2027 F.A.M.E. Team Finalists. The Fellowship Academy of Merit and Excellence is an annual initiative that was created to nurture, encourage, and promote an elite group of up-and-coming hairdressers in all aspects of the industry. The F.A.M.E. Team enjoys an exciting and fulfilling year which includes mentor days with a variety of industry experts, photoshoots, the opportunity to work on shows and seminars, both in the UK and overseas, along with training on a variety of subjects including media and presentation skills from some of the biggest names in the business. The 2027 F.A.M.E. Team Leader is the talented Lesley Jennison, who has an incredible year planned for the class of 2027.
The 2027 F.A.M.E. Team Semi-Finals, sponsored by K18 and Olivia Garden, took place at the Toni&Guy Academy in London. Fifteen semi-finalists took part in an intense day of judging, with the eight finalists being chosen at the end of the day. This event was also the debut of the Fellowship Presenting Team, with Andrew Barton, Steph Gallagher and James Parr hosting the evening show.
The semi-finalists were given multiple challenges throughout the day, presenting their looks, mood-boards, and models to a prestigious panel of judges, including Jayson Gray, Paula Crocock, Richard Ashforth, Peter Burkhill, Carolyn Chapman, Andy Smith and Grace Dalgleish. The final task brought the group dynamic into play, with semi-finalists split into teams to deliver a two-minute showcase in front of a live audience. The 2026 F.A.M.E. Team, Olivia-Rose Brady, Troy Boyd, Samantha Bryne and Chelsey Stone, were also on hand to share insight into their F.A.M.E. Team experience so far! After careful deliberation, the eight F.A.M.E. Team finalists are:

After a short interval, The Fellowship for British Hairdressing is delighted to announce that the 2027 F.A.M.E. Team Finals, sponsored by K18 and Olivia Garden, will return to Salon International on the 4th of October 2026. In front of an esteemed panel of judges and a live audience, the eight hopeful F.A.M.E. Team finalists will now take to the stage to participate in a series of challenges, alongside presenting a two-minute-long show to demonstrate their immense talent and technique.
Commenting on the announcement of the finalists, Simon Shaw, the President of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing said: “The calibre of entries for the 2027 F.A.M.E. Team was phenomenal – this is the crème de la crème of the next generation. All semi-finalists should be extremely proud of what they have achieved. Congratulation to our F.A.M.E.
