Unite celebrates creative diversity at Global Session
Over 1,200 hair stylist professionals attended the event, with a series of parties, demonstrations and workshops running across the week of 3rd-9th October aimed to inspire and educate the brand’s international pool of talent.
The Unite Golf Open kicked off the week, with guests invited to partake in a tournament hosted by CEO and founder, Andrew Dale, alongside vice president, Jared Trombetta, while Diamond Partner salons were welcomed at an exclusive reception party on the rooftop of the Westin Gaslamp hotel.
The main event saw two days of show-stopping demonstrations hosted by Dale and global education director, Marcus Allen, in the historic Balboa Theatre. Headliners including Paul Stafford, Adam Noble, Fletcher, Shaun McGrath, Daniel Jordan, Natasha Pearson, Gary Baker, Frederik Karlsson, Matthias Lavesson, Renee Africa, Jake Thompson, Brooke Schloenborn, Estevan Garner, Vinnie Morey and Dylan Johnson, while international session stylist, Kevin Ryan, ended the first day with a live photoshoot.
The second day focused on skillsets and techniques, with sessions on Barbering, Transformations, Cutting and Styling designed to boost Unite artists’ repertoires for when they return to their own salons.
Wrapping up the week, the second edition of the Unite Paramount Business initiative helped salon owners and managers build on their business skills, with attendee and salon owner, Candice of Love Hair in Canada, reporting great business success since attending Paramount Business 1 two years ago. She commented: “I listened, hired a manager and I’ve tripled my net worth.”
