West Yorkshire salon style hair for Strictly Get Dancing charity event
Two stylists from Wetherby based Westrow salon showcased their session skills as part of a Strictly Get Dancing themed charity event in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice.
More than 450 people gathered for an evening of show stopping glamour and raised more than £23,000 in aid of the local Yorkshire charity that cares for children and young people with progressive life shortening illnesses, and provides support for their families.
The Westrow stylist duo, Kate Harrison and Harriet Stocks, were on hand to create star quality looks for the 30 coupled contestants, while the salon also donated a cut and finish as prize for the evening’s raffle.
Westorw’s director, Steve Rowbottom, commented, “We are always looking at ways to give back to the local community and were thrilled to be supporting Martin House in its charitable initiative.”
