Zen Luxury Extensions has introduced a new approach with ADAPTI-SKIN and ADAPTI-WEFT, an innovative professional weft extension system designed to transform the way weft extensions are applied, maintained and removed.

At the heart of the system is ADAPTI-SKIN, a specially engineered support component that sits between the client’s natural hair and the premium Luxury Series+ ADAPTI-WEFT. Unlike traditional tape-weft methods, where adhesive tapes are attached directly to the client’s own hair, ADAPTI attaches the adhesive to the ADAPTI-SKIN instead.

This allows the ADAPTI-SKIN to support both the bond and the weight of the weft, creating a more controlled and supportive application that is designed to be kinder to the client’s natural hair.

Faster application without compromising the result

One of the key benefits of ADAPTI is the potential to significantly reduce appointment times. Once trained, professional stylists can apply two to three wefts to the same ADAPTI-SKIN in under ten minutes, while maintenance and removal appointments can typically be completed in under five minutes with regular practice.

Bespoke colour, length and volume

The ADAPTI system also gives stylists considerable flexibility when creating customised looks.

The first ADAPTI-WEFT is applied to the ADAPTI-SKIN before being fitted to the client’s hair using a distinctive ‘butterfly-style’ attachment. Once secured, the ADAPTI-SKIN folds down to create a discreet platform for a second ADAPTI-WEFT.

This allows stylists to blend from 16 available shades to create bespoke combinations of colour, length and volume. The 22” and 18” wefts can also be combined to achieve seamless, customised results.

Once fitted, the ADAPTI system lies flat against the head, creating a comfortable and natural-looking finish, with the attachment designed to be virtually invisible.

For professionals who have already completed Zen’s weft training, the company says the ADAPTI system can be applied easily, making it a natural progression for stylists already familiar with professional weft extension techniques.
