Olymp receives double recognition at German Design Awards 2016

German hairdressing equipment manufacturer, Olypm has scooped two awards at the prestigious German Design Award 2016.  The German Design Council award the company’s LavaSit Bond design with the label “Special Mention”. This distinction is awarded to particularly successful design solutions. The Olymp laboratory ColourCareCenter/-Island has also been awarded with the German Design Award 2016-Special Mention, with the laboratory system already holding the title of Interior Innovation Award-Winner 2015.

The German Design Award is the top international prize of the German Design Council, with an aim to discover, present and honour unique design trends. Every year, top-quality entries from product and communication design are rewarded for excelling in the international design landscape.

The jury of the German Design Award is made up of design experts from various disciplines, including the world of business, education and science as well as the design industry and are recognised experts in their special fields.
