Established in 2008 with their niche hot towel dispensers, Gemstar has established itself in the hair and beauty market.

The dispensers produce luxury hot towels at the touch of a button, and the product proves popular with salons and barbers; being used in facials, massages, hot shaves etc.

Looking to move the business forward, managing director Emma Harrison saw a natural progression to grow the business focussing on the disposable towel, offering an environmentally-friendly alternative and saving business owners both time and money.

Gemstar aim to offer products that will save business owners money and time, but in which they can be confident will not have a negative impact on the environment. In 2018 they introduced Salon Disposable Towels into the product range. The towels are environmentally friendly being made from natural fibres that decompose; they can even be placed in the compost!

Having spent 2018 launching their new website and introducing new products into their range, 2019 will see Gemstar continue to grow and develop their disposable towel solution range and expand into more markets.
