Fellowship Round–Up: January

The 2025 F.A.M.E. TEAM spend the day with Creative Director, Mike Esa

The team travelled to Wella World Studio in London to spend the day with Mike Esa Creative Director & formerly an international sportsman. Mike’s awareness and understanding of teamwork is at the forefront in the development and success of the Esa Live group. The day was all about learning Presentation Skills.

Annie Franklin comments: “We had an incredible day with the Mike Esa, a globally renowned show producer. He shared his expertise in presentation skills, helping us prepare for our stage appearances as fame team this year. His insights were on the next level. He made us feel comfortable but also pushed us out of our comfort zones and gave honest, constructive feedback that we could build on. I’ve taken away so much from the session and feel way more confident and prepared for the year ahead.”

Project Scotland Team Day with the Team at Linton & Mac

The team spent the day at the home of Linton & Mac in Aberdeen, with Jaye MacDonald, Co-Founder & Director of Linton & Mac & Caroline D’Souza. The day was all about Inspiration & social media skills.

Kelly Evans comments: “Had such an amazing day with Jaye and Caroline from Linton & Mac. Their story and journey within our industry was so inspiring, it has really given me a clear vision on creating my goals for 2025. Caroline’s knowledge and insights into social media have been a game changer and made me look at social media in a whole different light.”

Calligraphy Cut Scholarship spend the day with UK Ambassadors, Nicola Symth and Sarah Riggott

The inaugural year of the Calligraphy Cut Scholarship has started with a bang. The recipients of the Scholarship spent the day at Goldwell Academy with Calligraphy Cut’s UK Ambassadors, Nicola Symth and Sarah Riggot, with a focus of getting to grips with the tool.

Held like a pen, the calligraph cuts hair at a precise 21° angle – every strand, each time. This method not only enhances the natural movement and volume of the hair but also minimises split ends, leaving it looking healthier and feeling softer.

From mastering the fundamentals to exploring creative flair, Calligraphy Cut’s UK Ambassadors Sarah Riggot and Nicola Symth demonstrated how to using the tool before letting the team loose to put their skills to the test and experiment with the techniques they had learnt from the day.
