Global Salon Suites Concept to Help Liverpool Hair and Beauty Businesses Blaze a Trail to Success

LIVERPOOL has become the latest location to welcome an innovative salon suite brand that has been taking the world by storm, with owners offering hair and beauty industry professionals the chance to secure a £30,000 business springboard.

Phenix Salon Suites offers unique private spaces for hair and beauty industry professionals to set up shop, and has already had huge success in the US where the brand currently has over 400 sites. Its suites offer salon and beauty professionals the opportunity to own and operate their own business, with no long-term contract, and without the hassle of leasing a traditional space on the high street, renting a chair in a salon or operating out of their own home.

Located at the iconic Corn Exchange Building on Fenwick Street, the new 6,500 square foot Liverpool site has been transformed into 35 stunning suites following a £1 million renovation project. Each suite comes complete with high-quality equipment including a salon chair or beauty bed, backwash or spa sink, cupboard and trolley. The suites also have 24-hour access, Wi-fi, air conditioning and kitchen and laundry facilities, with tenants able to fully customise each suite to make the space their own.

To celebrate the launch of the new Liverpool site, Phenix Salon Suites is offering hair and beauty industry professionals the chance to secure a year’s free rent, personalised business advice, and access to an ongoing series of business and creative education seminars designed to ensure sustained success, with a prize pot that equates to £30,000.

Available through the Phenix Grant, the upcoming competition is open to all those working in the hair and beauty industry. To enter, participants are being asked to provide a brief bio and business idea or plan to the Phenix team. All entries will then be assessed based on creativity, viability, market potential, and passion, before a lucky beauty professional is crowned.

Previously, those who wanted to set up on their own would often have to rely on renting a pricey chair in a salon, but with Phenix, all our tenants have the power to be their own boss while getting the chance to gain the core skills needed to make their business a success.

Phenix Salon Suites aims to provide support for independent beauty businesses at any stage in their career, while giving them the autonomy to establish themselves at a central spot in the city, in a space where they can work alongside other like-minded professionals. With rental periods available for as little as one month, each tenant will have one weekly payment which includes all bills.

As a Phenix Salon Suites tenant, hair and beauty industry professionals also benefit from business mentoring, seminars covering topics such as colour education, pricing for profit, social media and content creation; an immersion program to help them build and maintain their business; and access to a Treatwell Partnership booking app worth £195.

The concept was launched by Gina Rivera, renowned haircare and hair colour brand entrepreneur and creator of newly launched beauty line Gina Xoxo, who previously appeared on Channel 4’s Undercover Boss.
