The Fellowship for British Hairdressing kick off 2023 with the very first of their project team days

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing have started the year off with a bang with their PROJECT COLOUR and PROJECT EXTEND Team Days.

The PROJECT EXTEND Team Day was led by Michelle Griffin, Chair of The Fellowship and PROJECT EXTEND Leader, alongside Trichology Expert Steven Goldsworthy, who after developing an interest in the science behind hair and noticing a demand within the salon for a specialist in hair and scalp issues, made the decision to study in the field of Trichology to be able to diagnose and offer treatments to anyone suffering from hair loss and thinning hair. Team Member’s headed to Goldworthy’s in Swindon where they had a day fueled with education. The day was supported by Project Brand Partners: Loxbox Extensions, Zen Academy, Showpony and Inanch, London.

The PROJECT COLOUR Team Day was led by Daniel Crouch, PROJECT COLOUR Leader, and Guest Mentor Vivienne Johns, a former hairdresser and now an Instagram Educator for the hair and beauty industry, who has been teaching hair and beauty pro’s how to use Instagram to grow their business and raise their profiles. Team Member’s headed to the Wella World Studio in London where they joined Daniel and Vivienne on ZOOM with Vivienne’s social media clinic.

Commenting on the team days, Chelsey Stone PROJECT COLOUR Team Member said, “Lovely day today meeting likeminded professionals, it was great to share experiences with everyone. Vivienne gave us lots of tips on how to standout on digital media platforms. One thing that stood out for me, was how enthusiastic Daniel was and how keen he is to make this the best year!”

PROJECT EXTEND Team Member Marlene Lamont said, “We had an amazing day filled with knowledge & invaluable education, covering hair systems, trichology, advice on consultation and so much more. Totally inspirational for all of us. Steven & Sophie were brilliant. Thanks so much, Michelle Griffin , for organising it I  loved”.
