Perfect pigments!
Alison West is the owner of Mtec West Micropigmentation, the sole UK distributor of the Li Velvet pigment range.
“I chose to become the sole UK distributor of this fabulous range as I truly believe that they are the best,” Alison told us.
Alison first discovered the Velvet range by Lasting Impressions (Li), the US manufacturer, when she was practising as a full time SPMU technician in my own Harley Street clinic.
“I was enthused (and I still am!) by the quality and safety of these glycerine-based pigments which contain a maximum density of pigment particles per each 15ml bottle,” she explained. “The colours are pre-stabilised, so the healed result should be the same as the implanted colour, taking away the element of ‘guesswork’ faced by SPMU technicians every time they perform a procedure. In instances where clients have high-melanin skins, the Velvet range provides a selection of modifiers to enable technicians to achieve the desired result.”
The maximum density of the Velvet range means that they are ideal for Microblading and Nanoblading, in addition to machine implantation, leaving more pigment in the skin per stroke than many other brands.
“This leads to longer lasting results with less pigment being lost during the healing process, keeping both technicians and their clients happy,” said Alison. “The stability of the pigments endures, and the need for top-up procedures is minimised.”
The Li Velvet pigments are trusted and respected throughout the SPMU industry and are the pigment of choice of many of the training institutions within the UK.
“Here at Mtec West, we are proud to supply trainers with their student kits at a discounted rate and give a 10% discount when their students place their first orders, along with any advice if needed,” added Alison. “Throughout my training in both the UK and the US, and during my early practice years, I became aware of the value of advice from experienced technicians, and this is now something I like to offer to all my customers. Anyone who places an order with me becomes a priority, and can call me anytime during office hours with any queries they may have about their practice. Many new technicians can lack in confidence when it comes to implementing Colour Theory and I am here to support them, helping them to make the right choices for their procedures.”
Mtec West endeavour to offer a speedy service too! If an order is placed before 2pm, Mon to Fri, they do their best to get it sent out that day. All orders are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, so parcels are tracked, signed for on delivery, and should reach the customer by 1pm the next working day.
New customers who place their first order via the telephone will be given a free, laminated, Colour Identification Chart for the Velvet pigments. For the busy customers and night-owls who don’t find the time to order during office hours, orders can be placed at mtecwest.co.uk, where they will be dealt with as soon as the office opens the next working day.
“I strive to support my customers in any way I can,” concluded Alison, “and, from the day they place their very first order, they become part of my Velvet family, with free access to my knowledge and experience just a phone call away!”
