Ellie Goulding’s Hair at The Brits 2024

Ellie Goulding headlined at the Brits this weekend and let her signature long blonde hair down in style.

Hair stylist Anastasia Stylianou created Ellie’s iconic look using Schwarzkopf Professional BLONDME for colour, Great Lengths for adding inches and Kent Brushes for styling.  

An exaggerated version of her famous blonde, Ellie’s hair was really long and sleek with a touch of movement.  Ellie’s hair perfectly complemented her glamourous look – featuring a long gold satin gown with one-shoulder high cowl neck, large side cut-out and a meter-long train.

The colour

• Ellie has gorgeous lived-in blonde colour that oozes luxury and great condition. This look was created by her professional hairstylist, Anastasia, using the Schwarzkopf Professional BLONDME range.

Anastasia explains “First I applied root drag of made up of 3/4 7.1 + 1/4 8.00 + 6% to create that lived-in feel. Then I mixed BLONDME Premium 9+ Lightener + 9% and applied freehand around the top layer and framed the face. After leaving to develop for 35 mins I rinsed and toned with 1/2 Ice + 1/4 clear + 1/4 Ise-Irisé + 2% which gave that beautiful multi-tonal finish.”

The length

• Elegant inches were added using Great Lengths 22-inch GL Tapes throughout Ellie’s hair in colour 23 – Ash Beautiful. 

The style

• First, Ellie’s hair was blasted until 95% dry, and using Kent Brushes Large Floral Cushioned Paddle Brush, Anastasia went in from the roots to create natural movement.
• Section by section, she used Kent Brushes Pure Flow 60mm Ceramic Round Brush, lifting the roots to create soft curls that bounce at the ends.
• She then tonged with a large barrel and dressed out with Kent Brushes Classic Shine Medium Mixed Bristle Hairbrush – a perfect brush for those with hair extensions.
