Our official statement
Hi everyone,
We would like to reach out in this time of uncertainty. We are fully aware of the panic surrounding the current global pandemic and the potential effects it could have on the salon industry, which is why we want you to know that we are here to help.
Salon Magazine is read by over 35,000 requested readers each month, all of which are professionals within the industry. As I’m sure you already know, we are not experts on the coronavirus and there are very few who are, but a way in which we feel we can lend a hand is by shedding light on the positives we can take out of this for those within the hair and beauty industry.
In a time like this we feel the utmost important thing is to remain calm, carry on and be optimistic. We will be working with brands, business experts and organisations to do what we can to keep anxiety and fears at an all-time low by offering advice online and within our next issue of the magazine.
Our main focus for now is to work together to support one another’s businesses. With this being said, please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like help or advice with a specific topic or if you are keen to see features covering certain areas do let us know. Equally, we are encouraging words of wisdom and positivity and would like you to help us spread the word. As of tomorrow (March 19th) we will be taking to twitter (@TheSalonMag) each day with a different tweet including some words of reassurance to try and uplift our industry family. If you have something you would like to share, please contact our editor jade@cimltd.co.uk and we will do our best to get it out there.
We are a small business too and we want to unite this industry and help you all to stay as positive as we possibly can. In the meantime, we will just ride this out… TOGETHER.
Our April edition will be online from Tuesday 24th March www.thesalonmagazine.co.uk
