BB Lifestyle has come a long way from its first sunscreen product to today’s innovative range of skincare products containing organic hemp CBD.
BB Lifestyle is owned and run by a group of visionaries who saw a gap in the market for a premium range with CBD (Cannabidiol) products; Thomas Clements, Ramina Kharileh, and Bill Bakho. Their board of advisors include doctors, dermatologists, professional athletes, spa owners, Hollywood actors, and industry experts.
BB Lifestyle’s head office is in sunny California, with its UK office in Hove, East Sussex run by Head of Business Development, James Constable.
With a 20+ year history, BB Lifestyle’s first incarnation was in 1997, when seeking to create a sunscreen for sensitive skin Bill Bakho partnered with a respected chemist and lab to create ‘the best sunscreen ever.’ In 1999, under the name Fenix Cosmetics, it was sold exclusively by doctors and dermatologists. In 2010 Bill launched Fenix Natural organic, vegan, and gluten-free products, closely followed by Fenix Cosmetics’ PETA cruelty-free certification in 2011. A collaboration with actress Jessica Hall in 2016 saw the release of Nurtured by Fenix, an organic baby product line.
Forward to 2018, and Fenix Cosmetics has developed further, and been re-branded as BB Lifestyle.
BB Lifestyle’s two collections, BB Luxury and B2 Performance, represent cutting-edge formulation practices, using the finest and most effective raw materials to help maintain skin health and beauty.
The products are sold within professional environments and specialist retailers including dermatologists, spas, beauty salons, cosmetic surgery clinics, physiotherapists, pharmacies and retail outlets.
“We currently have eight products in our range,” explained James. “However, we will have another 11 products arriving in the first quarter of 2019, and an additional 17 products before the close of 2019, all of which will be rich in CBD.
“If you were to ask what my personal favourites are, I would say the B2 Skin Recovery Gel (several of my friends have used this for scar tissue and psoriasis issues, and the effects are clear to see within a few days of use), the B2 Foaming Face Cleanser (an amazing facial wash which can be used every day. My daughter has used this product for two months now and her teenage acne issues have just disappeared), and the B2 Pain Relief Gel which is absolutely amazing for all those pains and injuries! The CBD soaks into the skin and really helps those deep muscle pains.”
BB Lifestyle are shortly launching a YouTube channel which will be hosted by the founder, Bill Bahko. The channel will provide training for all of their products, as well as providing interesting insights to the latest health and beauty trends in California.
